Venezuela's Simón Bolívar International Civic-Military Rescue and Humanitarian Aid Brigade has begun the final phase of the construction of the bridge over the Toa River.

The execution of the viaduct is currently at an 83 percent of the execution schedule, with the arrival of the beams and the components that were missing the work will be concluded on June 14 as scheduled, explained the official.

Meanwhile, he said, work is done on the placement of slabs of boards, pedestrian walkways, and rails, in the section that already has the metal structure on the side that gives access to the municipality of Moa.

Meanwhile, the construction companies of Guantanamo and Moa, are building the two embankments to approach the new bridge that will measure 225m long and 11 wide and a little more than 11m high.
