Cuban President Receives Belize's Prime Minister

Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, received today in this capital the Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Oliver Barrow, who arrived today to this island with the purpose of tightening relations between both countries.

After thwe reception and protocol ceremony at the Palace of the Revolution, both heads of Government started official talks.

Before the meeting. Barrow rendered tribute to the Cuban National Hero, Jose Marti, at the memorial named after the independence hero.

At his arrival earlier today to Cuba, the Belize PM said that the expectations of his visit liwe in strengthening the bilateral links and approach with Diaz-Canel important issues of the Latin American and Caribbean region.
