Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez, received his counterpart from Grenada, Peter David, according to the website of the island's foreign ministry.

According to the source, the meeting between Rodriguez and David, who is also the head of his country's work, took place in a fraternal atmosphere in which they discussed the good state of bilateral relations.

The text also states that both ministers ratified their mutual interest in continuing to consolidate cooperation and promote economic-commercial ties. They also exchanged views on issues on the international agenda.

The visitor was accompanied by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Granada, Alva Brown.

On the Cuban side, the general director of Latin America and the Caribbean, Eugenio Martínez and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present.

Relations between Grenada and Cuba date back to 1974 and are linked to sectors such as construction, health and agriculture, among others.
