Cuba Carries out Dynamic Constitutional Referendum Trial

Cuban electoral authorities are conducting on Sunday a dynamic trial of the referendum scheduled for next Sunday 24, in which more than eight million voters will express their opinion on the new Constitution approved by the National Assembly.

As on other occasions, the trial is designed to verify, check and perfect coordinate everything related to voting.

The test will be carried out in two moments, the first of them dedicated to check all the means, resources, assurances, personnel, media and computer that will be used on February 24.

Then, there will be a closure and an immediate step towards an exercise that will include electoral structures at all levels, from the polling stations to the Nation.

At that moment work will be done with simulated situations and parts as a way of rehearsing the process, carrying out the scrutiny, processing the results from schools to the constituencies and from there to the higher instances.

After the trial, there will be a week to evaluate all the problems detected in both moments of the essay and solve them.
