Iran Ambassador meets, confers with Cuban FM

Cuba's Foreign Minister at the meeting, while appreciating the efforts of the past four years of the Iranian ambassador to expand the level of relations, especially in the field of science and technology, extended congratulations on the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and commended the leadership of the revolution by Imam Khomeini and his successor, the Supreme Leader.

He added, 'The Islamic Revolution proved to the world that the power of global imperialism against the will of the people is not feasible.”

He also appreciated the achievements of the Islamic Revolution in various fields, including political, economic, social, scientific and technical.

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla condemned the recent terrorist attack in Sistan and Balouchestan, which resulted in the martyrdom of 28 people and the wounding of 12 forces of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), and expressed sympathy with the Iranian government and nation, the families of the martyrs and the wounded.

Iran's ambassador to Cuba for his part underlined, 'The global arrogance has for almost a century (40 years of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and 60 years of the Cuban revolution) resorted to any crime, cruelty and oppression to defeat popular revolutions in Iran and Cuba.
