Cuba Highlights Work with FAO to Boost Agricultural Projects

Cuba has highlighted its collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to promote local farming development projects on the island.

Last week, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez received FAO Director-General Jose Graziano da Silva, who visited Havana.

Da Silva attended the closing of the 7th Continental Congress of the Latin American Coordination of Rural Organizations-Via Campesina.

Recently, the FAO representative on the island, Marcelo Resende, recognized the work of the authorities to increasingly promote food security in the nation.
