Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel rejected this Friday the new measures announced by the United States government against his country related to the purchase of products with U.S. components and the leasing of aircraft and vessels.

This action expresses impotence, moral degradation and imperial contempt, the President tweeted.

Diaz-Canel also described the new actions against Cuba, which intensify the blockade, as inhuman, cruel and unfair.

The measures will be established under a final rule of the Department of Commerce, the U.S. Federal Register reported Friday.

The rule changes the licensing policy to deny aircraft leases to Cuban state airlines, and clarifies that aircraft and vessels are not eligible for a license exception if they are rented or chartered by a national of this country, according to press media.

The actions prohibit to re-export to Cuba foreign items containing more than 10 percent of U.S. components.
