Tourism development in Cuba is for the people

The development of tourism in Cuba is for the benefit of the people, stated Chela Castro, manager of Colombian tourism agency CM Tropican.

Castro offered a presentation on the subject, included in the program of the XXVIII National Solidarity Meeting with the island that is sessioning until tomorrow, and is focused on the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

She praised the Authentic Cuba campaign, promoted by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, which travels around many countries in the world in order to promote the attractions of the Caribbean island.

The CM Tropican representative, an agency that has been working with Cuba for many years, highlighted the joy, culture, solidarity and friendship that Cubans offer to everyone who visits the island.

She also referred to Cuba's social development, security and potential of in health tourism and congress and event travel, the latter taking into account the great number of national and international events that take place there every year.
