Haiti's Michel Martelly Visits Cuba to Reinforce Cooperation

Haiti's President Michel Martelly traveled on Monday to Cuba to talk collaboration relations with government authorities, the announcement was made by the head of state on his twitter account.

According to PL news agency, Martelly wrote on twitter that he had left Haiti Monday morning for Havana in order to meet with Cuban authorities on cooperation.

The Haitian president acknowledged the historical cooperation offered by Cuba to his country during the 6th Summit of the Association of Caribbean states, held last month in Mexico. Cuban collaboration with Haiti keeps underway in the areas of health, education, construction,fishing, sports and others.
