International Tourism Fair FITCuba-2015 kicks off in Havana

The 35^th edition of the International Tourism Fair FITCuba-2015 will start off in Jardines del Rey with special focusing on recreational boating. This event is also dedicated to Italy.

This International Fair —to be held until May 7^th— introduces the exhibition of business and the promotion of opportunities, plus a sample of product and service suppliers.

Taking advantages of the new Cuban Foreign Investment Act, some companies such as Gaviota, Cubanacan, Gran Caribe, Islazul, Marlin, and the Cuban medical services are present in the event.

Several workshops and conferences will take place according to the event program. Cuban Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, is scheduled to give a brief speech on the beginning of Cuban tourism.

The first day, the representatives of the World Tourism Organization Carlos Vogeler, and deputy ministerof theItalianMinistryofCulturalHeritage, ActivitiesandTourism, Francesca Barracciu will also take the floor.
