Saharawi President Highlights Solidarity and Support of Cuba

The President of the Saharawi Democratic Arab Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz highlighted the solidarity of Cuba with the independence fight of his people and the support in the training of professionals of his country.

Cuba has stood out by our people since the first day of the armed fight against the colonization of Spain and then against the Moroccan occupation, said the President.

The Casa de la Amistad in this capital hosted an event that was attended by representatives of the government of the island, of solidarity organizations with this Africa country, and the diplomatic corps accredited here.

Abdelaziz said that the Cuban support to his people has spread to different areas and nowadays there are over a thousand professionals trained by national universities and institutions, while he thanked the work of the medical teams that frequently travel to that territory.
