Cuban chancellor Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla welcomed early in the morning the Cuban delegation that attended the re-opening of the embassy of the island there in Washington D.C., U.S.

Rodriguez, who was already in Havana, greeted each of the members of the Cuban delegation at the Jose Marti international airport. Artists, scientists, representatives of the private sector, physicians, intellectuals, union leaders, student leaders, and sports stars traveled to the American nation.

The chancellor recalled the moving moments experienced last Monday in the re-opening of the Cuban embassy in the U.S. as part of the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Upon the arrival to Havana, there was a moment for a photo with the M-26-J flag, which artist Kcho took symbolically in his trip around the U.S.

The quick welcoming ended with anecdotes of the meetings with U.S. officials and chants in favor of Fidel, Raul, and the Revolution.

During his stay in Washington, the Cuban FM met his counterpart John Kerry. Both assessed the status of the bilateral relations and held a joint press conference.
