Cuban President Raul Castro, held today a meeting with former U.S. president Bill Clinton as part of his intense agenda in New York where he participates in high-level meetings at the United Nations. The leader of the Caribbean island and the ex Democrat head of State, who occupied the White House from 1993 and 2001, talked in a New York hotel on several issues. Including the aid to Haiti.

Raul Castro also met this Friday with the mayor of the Big Apple, Bill de Blasio and the Prime Minister of Sweden, Kiell Stefan Lofven, meetings that took place at the venue of the Permanent Cuban Mission to the UN.

Since his arrival to New York last Thursday, the President of the Largest of the Antilles has fulfilled a wide program of activities in the context of the summit of the sustainable development objectives from 2015-2030.

The eve, the Cuban Head of State talked with the presidents of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro and Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, as well as New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo and U.S. congress members.

Earlier today, Raul Castro exchanged Greetings with the Chinese Head of State, Xi Jinping, after both gave their speeches to the second day of the Summit.
