Cuba Exhibits Products in Vietnam International Trade Fair

The 26th Vietnam International Trade Fair opened today in this capital as a bridge to promote the development of links among national and foreign companies, including several from Cuba.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said that the event contributes to the integration of Vietnam into the global economy, one of the Government's priorities.

Marta Calzadilla, representatives from the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, told Prensa Latina that there are 12 Cuban companies present in this fair representing sectors such as agriculture, health, services, food and construction.

The list includes Agricultural, Agro-forest and Livestock business groups, Labiofam, Citricos Caribe, Placental Histotherapy Center, Dinvai Construcciones S.A., International Center of Havana, Heber Biotec S.A., Alimport and AMV Group (Duc Minh Medical J.S.C.), among others.

Among the products shown, there are biopharmaceutical products, rum (Havana Club), coffee, cocoa, honey, charcoal. The country also exhibits legal, medical, construction, design and technical consultancy services.

Cuban companies' aims are to the search for new clients, representatives or distributors, identify investors, product or service suppliers, as well as to enhance trade relations in the geographical area.
