The Five, who arrived the eve, are present today at the military parade for the victory over fascism in the Moscow Red Square, invited by the Russian state duma (lower chamber of parliament).

René González and Fernando González were freed by Washington after serving their respective sentences, and the rest arrived in Cuba in December, 2014, after the announcement of establishment of diplomatic relations between Havana and Washington.

In February, 2015, president Raul Castro imposed the medal of Heroes of the Republic of Cuba on the Five.
