Boudiaf holds discussions with Cuban counterpart
Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abdelmalek Boudiaf has held discussions, Tuesday in Geneva, with his Cuban counterpart Roberto Morales Ojeda.
The discussions, which took place on the sidelines of the 69th session of the World Health Assembly, the decision-making body of the World Health Organization (WHO), focused on bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in various areas, particularly health.
In a statement to the press, the Cuban minister hailed the level of cooperation between the two countries, adding that his discussions with Boudiaf were an opportunity to examine all partnership projects launched by Algeria and Cuba.
Ojeda also underlined the exchange of experience, transfer of technology and expertise, adding that his country seeks to develop with Algeria the pharmaceutical industry, especially the production of vaccines.
