Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Cuba to pay tribute to Fidel Castro

The Venezuelan President Nicloas Maduro arrived in Cuba Monday night to attend the funeral rites of Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro.

President Maduro leads a delegation that includes several Venezuelan politicians and officials that want to pay tribute to the Cuban leader who passed away on Friday.

Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment Elba Rosa Pérez received the Venezuelan president at the Jose Marti International Airport.

Upon his arrival, Maduro sent his condolences to the Cuban people, and added that both countries are like a family that Commanders Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro brought together.
