Havana Ready for Annual Book Fair

Havana, February 5 (RHC)-- The Havana Book Fair, attracting thousands of people every year, will have India as the guest Country of Honor. And this year's Fair is dedicated to Dr. Olga Portuondo, National Social Sciences and Humanities Prize winner 2010, and Leonardo Acosta, National Prize for Literature winner 2006, who also received the National Music Prize in 2014.

The 24th edition of Havana’s International Book Fair will take place on February 12-22. It will run until April in the rest of the national territory, and the meeting’s guest of honor will be the Republic of India.

Brazil, India committed to environment protection

Brazil and India, two of the five members of BRICS, announced on Wednesday morning that they have signed agreements on environmental protection, satellite data processing and information exchange, the official news agency Agencia Brasil reported.
