American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan announced today the presentation of his first triple album that includes thirty new classic songs of his country.

The compilation album, to be released on March 31, is titled Triplicate, while each of the separate albums will include ten songs and will have their own epigraph.

Thus, the pieces created by some of the most important and acclaimed United States composers, now in Dylan's voice, arrangements and musical direction, will be recorded in 'Til The Sun Goes Down,' 'Devil Dolls' and 'Comin' Home Late.'

Among the authors, the most prominent names are Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, Harold Arlen and Ted Koehler, Harold Hupfield, Cy Coleman, and Carolyn Leigh.

Under the Sony Music label and Jack Frost's production, Triplicate will be available in several formats including a three-disc digipak, an edition of three LPs and a numbered luxury vinyl edition.

Marked by the number 38 of his career, Triplicate focuses on songs popularized by Frank Sinatra and 'hand-chosen songs from an array of American songwriters'.
