The company led by Carlos Acosta will perform in Santiago de Cuba, Bayamo, Holguin, and Camaguey.
After the season Mitos, which ended on Sunday in Havana, Acosta Danza will embark on a tour by different cities of Eastern Cuba starting on February 14th. This is a strong commitment by Acosta to bring his art to every corner of the country.
The audience in Santiago de Cuba will enjoy the performance on February 14th at Heredia Theater. On February 16th, the dancers will perform at Bayamo Theater. Acosta Danza will continue its tour at the Eddy Sunol Theater in Holguin on February 18th. Main Theater of Camaguey will host the performance on February 21st.
The audience will enjoy the plays Fauno y Mermaid from Belgium Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui; Rooster, choreographed by Christopher Bruce and music by the band The Rolling Stones.
Nijinsky’s Last Jump, by Catalonian Maria Rovira and Twelve, Villanueva Award 2017 will be also performed.
The company was founded by Carlos Acosta in 2015. Its first performance took place on April 2016 and aims at offering inclusive shows from contemporary to neo-classic environment without rejecting other expressions, epoch, and styles.
