American actress Natalie Portman plays a pop star from the 1990s in a movie that is about to be premiered at the Venice Film Festival, according to an official image.

Movie's organizers proudly published the first picture of 'Vox Lux,' a fiction feature film that focuses on successful pop singer Celeste's life, but also delves into the tragic implications of being a star.

At the last moment, Portman replaced Rooney Mara in the project and shared the cast with Jude Law, Raffey Cassidy and Jennifer Ehle, among other actors, in the film by American director Brady Corbet.

But the Israeli-born actress' prestige allows envisioning impressive performances, no matter the circumstances. She showed this once again with her heartbreaking interpretation of Jacqueline Kennedy in 2016, in the film 'Jackie,' by Pablo Larrain.

In 'Vox Lux' the actress does not sing with her voice because she is doubled by the powerful Australian vocalist Sia, but in 'Black Swan' she did not dance a single scene and yet she received many awards.

Portman's picture as a pop star is currently flooding social networks while the organizers of the 75th Venice International Film Festival rejoice for the scoop that can be seen from August 29 to September 8.
