Puerto Rico's Singer Olga Tañon Records New Video Clip in Havana

The Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañon has finished in Cuba the recording of her most recent videoclip, in which she is accompanying the Dominican artist Gabriel E. Ramirez Pagan, confirmed on Friday to Prensa Latina sources of the artistic enviroment.

The interpreter known as 'Woman of Fire' has been in Havana for days to work on a new audiovisual project that is supported by the Cuban dance companies Revolution and Paso a Paso (Step by Step).

The videoclip with Ramirez Pagan was filmed at Havana's Theater America and featured the choreography of Roclan, director of Revolution, as well as dancers from Paso a Paso, a group in rise in the country directed by Yuly Rodriguez.

Prensa Latina learned that the last details of the recording were on Thursday, when La Tañon, as she is affectionately known in Cuba, shared and took photographs with directors, artists and technical staff of the theater.

According to Prensa Latina, selfies and poses were taken on Wednesday with employees of a restaurant in the capital whose main attraction and singularity is that it is staffed by actresses and actors.

The Puerto Rican singer is very much loved by Cubans who remember with special gratitude her visit to the island in 2009 to join several singers and musicians in the memorable concert Peace without Borders. He also sang in 2015 in Havana and Santiago de Cuba.
