Renowned British musician Paul McCartney ventures into literature with the writing of a book of stories for children, based on his experiences as a grandfather.

According to the author revealed in social networks, the text will be called Hey Grandude, a kind of reference to the theme Hey Jude, released in August 1968.

According to McCartney, the work will be accompanied by the work of the illustrator Kathryn Durst, responsible for capturing in drawings the story of an 'intrepid and exploratory grandfather', the central axis of each of the texts.

'I want to write it for grandparents and grandchildren to read the book throughout the whole world and to share that moment before they go to bed,' the musician said.

The book will arrive in the United Kingdom in September 2019, while the former member of famous group The Beatles celebrates the success of his most recent album Egypt Station (2018), a 16-song phonographic work that gave Mc Cartney a return to the market after five years of absence. (PL)
