The exhibition is set up under the auspices of the Islamic Republic's embassy in Cuba in collaboration with the 'Havana Asian House'.
Students from various universities of Havana were present in the inaugural ceremony.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Yamir Masias, director of the Asian Cultural House, congratulated the audience on the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and praised the Islamic Republic's progress in various dimensions.
Also addressing the audience, Kambiz Sheikh Hassani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Cuba, pointed to the culture of resistance and independence of the people of both countries, which initiated popular revolutions in Iran and Cuba against American puppet dictators.
Sheikh Hassan said that for global arrogance, confrontation against their wishes is an unforgivable sin, and they do everything to see the experience is failed and ensure it is not repeated on part of others.
The Iranian ambassador went on to say, “The experience of the two Cuban and Iranian revolutions has shown that they (the arrogant powers) will use the aggression, assassination, sanctions, media and economic warfare and any weapon available to them to destroy the popular revolutions.'
Sheikh Hassani further noted that the reason for the failure of the armed forces against the popular revolution of the two countries was a clever leadership with popular resistance.
He added that Cuba's tremendous advances in the field of biotechnology, medicine and human development indicators and the great progress of Iran in various fields of science and industry and the new technology prove that one can remain independent, and gain progress despite all the political, economic and media pressures.
