“I don’t think there’s a point ... It’s not important to ask because it’s (done),” she said.

The star of “Dead Poets Society” and “Hook,” who was going through a period of deep depression, was found strangled with a belt in his California home last Aug. 11, and his daughter abandoned the social networks shortly thereafter due to the cruel comments she received about the incident.

“A lot of people who have been through it and lost someone, the ones that have been through it and that I’ve found have gone on to lead very full lives have found that they just had to know that there’s no point questioning it. And there’s no point blaming anyone else for it, or there’s no point blaming yourself or the world,” she said.

“It happened and you have to continue to move and you have to continue to live and manage,” she added.

Zelda also said that the celebrated and beloved comedian who people knew from the big and small screens was very different from the man she knew and lived with. While saying that he portrayed himself to people as he wanted them to see him, and he was an “incredibly friendly” man, she also said that he was very “private.”

Robin Williams married three times and had three children, all of them with his first two wives.

Zelda Williams was born on July 31, 1989, and is the actor’s only daughter. She is the person to whom he sent his last Instagram message, wishing her an upbeat happy 25th birthday about a week-and-a-half before he took his life.
