Johnny Depp returns to Pirates Of The Caribbean set

The 51-year-old star was photographed arriving at Australia’s Brisbane airport with wife Amber Heard on April 21, to restart the shoot for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

They were seen walking hand-in-hand, their wedding rings visible, with the actor’s injured right hand bandaged in a red bandana.

The Hollywood star flew back to LA for surgery after injuring his right wrist in a non-set incident on March 10.

Michael Singer, a publicist for Jerry Bruckheimer Films, told the Daily Mail: “His return depended on his recuperation from surgery and when his physician allowed him to travel. It was entirely dependent on that.”

Meanwhile, the film’s producer Jerry Bruckheimer has teased that the fifth instalment in the swashbuckling franchise could spell trouble for Johnny’s character, pirate Jack Sparrow.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which also stars Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario and Geoffrey Rush, is scheduled for release in July 2017.
