Under the name of Momentos de la condicion humana, it is a retrospective exhibition of 40 years of his photographic work through 130 images, as recently explained curator Niurka Fanego Alfonso to the press.

Turnley will also offer the master lecture Fotografiando la condición humana and will present the text Cuba. La Gracia del Espiritu, on November 18, as part of the program the National Museum of Fine Arts has prepared for this period of two months.

Executives of the institution also stressed the importance of the reopening of the Catedrales de los Carpinteros next December18, to complete the restoration process of this sculpture, which is located on the facade of the of Cuban Art building several years ago.

As part of the Italian Culture Week, to be held from November 24 to 26 in the theater of this cultural entity, the First Forum Rebirth (Renaissance), organized by the Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto will take place to discuss about issues of art, politics, ideology and environment, and their interaction.

Especially for children and young people will be the inauguration of the expo Jose Antonio Medina Soto: art and craft of illustration, for December 19 at the gallery of the Antonio Rodríguez Morey Information Center of the Cuban Art Building.

This exhibition falls within the context of children's creative workshop Mi mundo ilustrado (My illustrated world) that belongs to the Department of Educational Services of the MNBA, which is about to celebrate its 50 years of creation.

The institution will also host in these two months the Contemporary Music Festival in Havana, the Luces y Sombras Project from the Office of the Historian of the City, with the screening of the documentary about the artist Carmen Fiol, and the usual Jazz Season in Fine Arts.

The exhibits Ritmo, Altavoz contra la pared and El eco del ultimo disparo will continue being displayed, as well as the activities organized every Sunday morning for children in the courtyard of the Art Building.
