Artists from Henan Show in Cuba Diversity of Chinese Culture

The artistic group of the Chinese province of Henan will present here a show that includes Kung-fu, acrobatics and music on January 29 and 30, reported the National Council for the Performing Arts. With the support of the Chinese Embassy in Havana, the presentation will take place at Mella Theater in Havana and is related to the celebrations for the arrival of the Chinese New Year.

A representation of the cultural traditions of China will reach this island by the show Chinese Springs to give the public a multicolored festivity in which the martial arts have much of the role.

Typical dances and melodies of Henan, China's most populous province, will reflect the rich traditions of the territory that cradled exponents of various forms of art.

Among its best-known personalities stand Du Fu, considered one of the greatest Chinese poets and Han Yu, included among the most famous writers of the Asian nation.
