After unveiling the curtain that hides the true North American society a total different face from the onetraditionally advertised shows up.

It’s left more in the open in an article appeared in the column Trasfondo of the New Herald.

Published last Sunday under the title "The exclusion and Inequality affect Everyone."Its author, David Brook, an expert in the North American way of life wrote it for the New York Times News Service.

The high middle class - he says – has become devastatingly good at avoiding that the children of others have the chance to join their lines.

In the last decades, he adds, the high middle class has placed as "center of life" to have successful children, and they make heavy investments.

According to Brook, middle class moms have licenses to breastfeed their babies in proportions higher than those who only have middle studies, and during longer periods.

The parents of that class, he writes have the means to spend up to three times more time with their children at preschool than those less wealthy ones.

Since year 1996, affirms David Brook, the expense in education among wealthy people has increased in almost 300%.

What about the other social groups? According to statistics, "it’s basically the same".

The also journalist of the Mexican newspaper La Jornada in United States also points out the following:

"As it has worsened the life for the rest of the middle class", middle class parents try that their children do not return to those levels.

Brook highlights that it is not bad to spend time to improve the family, but he warns about one of the causes of its wrongs.

Where is identifiable? In the prohibitions set to their homes.

He reveals that well educated people are based in Portland, New York and San Francisco, where dispositions for construction keep away the poor and less educated.

Those other "doomed of the Earth" don't have good schools neither working opportunities. That is, among North Americans of inferior category, millions, only perceptible when you take a good look from inside the country.
