Marcos Rubio: “Soon” of the National Rifle Association

Marco Rubio and Carlos Curbelo are among those politicians who have been funded by the NRA (National Rifle Association).

El Nuevo Herald also mentions other Hispanic politicians who received money from such multi-million lobby as well.

Four of them are from Florida, according to Univision. Namely, Marco Rubio, Mario Diaz-Balart, Carlos Curbelo, and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

The TV report confirms that all of them have accepted great sums of money from the “gun lobby.”

For instance, Senator Marco Rubio has accepted almost 3.5 millions USD.

To Carlos Curbelo, the report notes, was given more than 75.000 USD and to Ros-Lehtinen and Diaz-Balart were given 32.000 USD, each.

According to the report, the NRA has spent 123 million USD in election campaigns since 1990.

Most of them, it highlights, have been allocated to candidates and politicians members of the Republican Party.

For years, after the triumph of the Revolution, far-right groups from Miami have linked their wrongdoings to the goal of freeing Cuba.
