Lies, Trump’s main weapon against Venezuela

Lies, once and again, have been the U.S. constant weapons against Venezuela, as it happened with Cuba and every sovereign people. We must be alert on each fake news and refute them. They want to dishearten and mislead all revolutionary people, stated Cuban writer Abel Prieto in his Twitter profile.

The also President of the Jose Marti Cultural Society and head of the Office of the Jose Marti Program denounced that the musicians to perform in Colombia next February 22^nd in a sort of concert to raise funds for the humanitarian aid for Venezuela, are taking orders from their master to trigger a military aggression in the South American nation.

“On the bottom, the RCA Victor dog listens carefully to the voice of its master. A symbol of supreme obedience,” Prieto wrote referring to the artists and organizers of the concert.

In the words of Richard Branson, multimillionaire and the show organizer —those who quickly see the warning signs of fake news label this concert as a media circus against Venezuela— the concert will take place on February 22^nd in the city of Cucuta, Colombia under the mandate of the puppet president imposed by Washington, Juan Guaido, whose purposes are: “to draw the international attention to this unacceptable crisis (…) and raise funds to this paramount humanitarian aid.”

These are, in fact, the lies Abel Prieto was referring to in his Twitter profile. Unfortunately for Branson and Guaido, such lies were successfully refuted by the Venezuelan ambassador before U.N., Samuel Moncada, in his speech delivered at OAS last Friday.

“If you want to help Venezuela do not threaten us and promise restitution,” pointed out the diplomat. Just an example, Trump’s administration stole 30 billion USD in the last days to aggravate the social situation and favor a military intervention.

The dangerous nature of these not-well-intentioned lies made up in Washington is that all of them are related to military forces and are being sold to mass media to justify their role as saviors of the Venezuelan people when the real truth is only one: Trump proclaimed himself lord and master of natural resources, lands, and citizens of a colony he has named Venezuela.
