The New Measures and the Sidekicks of the Blockade against Cuba

Unquestionably the new measures are terrible news for the empire that, by means of lies and slander, has increased in recent months the genocidal blockade against the people of Cuba.

"The enemy wanted to punish us with a harsh summer filled of uncertainty and bad news, today we can tell the imperialists that we only have "one piece of bad news" to say: Here behold the victorious Cuban Revolution and we are coming for more, even amid harsh situation" said Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel at the Round Table television show on Tuesday, dedicated to explaining the measures adopted by the Council of Ministers to strengthen the Cuban economy.

The upping of salaries for the budgeted sector is among these new measures, which, at a cost of seven billion fifty million and seven hundred million Cuban pesos, will benefit the more than two million 750 thousand Cubans who since July will have the opportunity to access a greater number of products and services.

The Economy Minister, Alejandro Gil, pointed out in the same television program about the salary upping: "this measure allows the family to access certain goods and services they could not access before", among which he gave as example the tourism and communications.

Regarding communications, now, in a panorama as he also explained where state-owned companies don’t have to raise the prices of their supplies; many Cubans will be able to enjoy the benefits of new technologies.

Unquestionably the new measures are terrible news for the empire that, by means of lies and slander, has increased in recent months the genocidal blockade against the people of Cuba.

Likewise, the measures adopted by the country's leadership are bad news for those who, as the Cuban president highlighted in the Round Table: "have never been interested in the welfare of the Cuban people and attempt to denigrate and tarnish every step the Revolution takes ".

Among the latter appear the mercenaries on social networks who, even though they question in their campaigns the prices for these services, paradoxically, take advantage of the increasing access of Cubans to Internet, in an attempt to "fish" among the –naives? - new to social networks, new followers to their cause.

As I pointed out in a recent article, Twitter campaigns are not, like some media try to present, the initiative of the Cuban people, but part of the Internet Task Force strategy which the United States government uses as a subversive weapon against Cuba to increase the blockade and the aggressions against the people that, supposedly, they claim to defend.

Fake News in Internet, the fallacies of the virtual world vanish in the presence of the relentless reality and there is no worse news for the empire, and their digital spokesmen, than the confirmation of what’s for them the hardest of truths: that one which against all odds, the Revolution will not only go on, but it also comes for more.
