Andres Iniesta's Wine Business Is Central To His Next Career Move

Andres Iniesta is poised to end his glittering stint with Barcelona very soon, and it seems as though the Spaniard's wine business is central his next career move.

The 33-year old midfielder set up 'Bodega Iniesta' in his hometown of Fuentealbilla in 2010 and his company's website has English and Mandarin pages.

The Far East is clearly a market Iniesta wants to tap into and his nailed-on move to the Chinese Super League will certainly aid that.

As per Marca, the winery is central to the deal that will see the World Cup winner join an unnamed Chinese outfit - with reports saying an exportation of two million bottles of wine to China is expected to come about in the coming year.

Iniesta's product is also to be heavily advertised as part of the arrangement, which is an added bonus to the hefty contract he will be receiving upon his arrival.

The four-time Champions League winner cut an emotional figure after the Blaugrana were knocked out of the competition by Roma after a quarter final second leg collapse - Iniesta admitting he may well have played his last UCL game in a post-match interview.

Iniesta, who came through the youth ranks to become one of the club's finest ever players, confirmed that this season will be his last in Barca colours.

"I already know what I'm going to do about my future," he said after the 2-1 win over Valencia at the weekend.

"I'm grateful for the affection of the fans, but that won't change my decision."

An official announcement is expected to be made after the Copa Del Rey final against Sevilla next week.
