Andy Cruz substitutes Robeisis Ramirez in World Boxing Series

Cuba´s runner-up in the featherweight division in 2014, Andy Cruz, will substitute London-2012 Olympic champion Robeisis Ramirez in the WBS match to be held next Saturday between Cuba Domadores and Mexico Guerreros. The clash will take place at the Olympic Gym of Aguas Calientes.

According to the press release of the Cuban Boxing Federation, Andy Cruz´s inclusion in the team has to do with a tactical decision only.

The rest of the team to face Mexican Guerreros will be the same of previous matches before Algeria and Russia; namely, Johanys Argilagos, Yasniel Toledo, Arlen Lopez and Erislandy Savon.

Domadores is leading pool A in the World Series with 4 wins. The Cuban team has won all of their fights.

The Aztec team stands in a 5th place with 2 wins and 2 losses, winning 9 fights, losing 11.
