The Cuba Domadores will receive on April 21 and 22 the Mexico Guerreros during the quarterfinals of the 6th World Series of Boxing (WSB).

The match was agreed when the Aztec team defeated 4-1 Great Britain Lion Hearts to total 11 units that allowed them to finish second in Group B, won by that European squad.

José Rojas (52 kg), Lindolfo Delgado (60), Francisco Armenta (69) and Carlos Rodriguez (81) rejoiced their fans in Aguascalientes when beating Jack Bateson
(2-1), Oualid Belaoura (TKO), Cyrus Pattinson (2-1) and Lynden Arthur (2-1), in that order.

Without pressure because they had already won that group, the European side saved honor through Frazer Clarke (+91), who won by TKO over Paul Nigel in the first round.

As released then, the Cuba Domadores lead Poole A with 16 points thanks to final swepts over the Ukraine Otomans and the China Dragons, last Thursday and Friday, respectively, at Havana Sports City.

That will also be the scenario of the match against the Mexican side, and the winner will face in semifinals the also winner of the match between Russia (1st in group C) and the Uzbekistan Tigers (2 nd in poole D).

The same applies to the winners of the matches Great Britain Lion Hearts (1 B) vs. Ukraine Otomans (2 A) and Kazakhstan Astana Arlans (1 D) vs. the Venezuela Caciques (2 C).
