Spain Urged to Defend Cuba's Sovereignty in View of US Policy

In a statement, PCE urged the conservative management of Rajoy to express the need for taking urgent actions to make Trump withdraw his policy that seek to resume the failed, useless and illegal policies of interference into Cuba.

The statement said that with the US decision taken yesterday, Trump's management behaves contrary to the unanimous viewpoint shared by the international community, disregarding international laws and the United Nations.

PCE referred to a memorandum signed yesterday by Trump, who reverses the discreet advances fostered by his predecessor, Barack Obama, to normalize relations with Cuba.

PCE urged the United Nations to enforce its resolutions and ask the United States to end any measure that would represent economic blockade or trade boycott against Cuba, because they are illegal, unjust and criminal measures.
