Eleven days after hiring Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications chief, U.S. President Donald Trump has fired him.

On Monday, sources alleged that the recently hired spokesman was relieved of his position over an obscene tirade.

According to a report from Reuters, a source close to Trump said the president was worried about what to do about the abrasive Scaramucci, even seeking his advisers' opinions.

Trump made the decision to depose Scaramucci and  in true 'Trump form' took to Twitter: "A great day at the White House!."

Scaramucci made lewd comments which were published in The New Yorker magazine last Thursday. The comments, which were largely threatening, exposed expletive-filled rants aimed a several White House staff members.

The comments were attacks against then-White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist, Steve Bannon.

Current White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly, reportedly summoned Scaramucci to his office, the official shared with Reuters.

"The president certainly felt that Anthony's comments were inappropriate for a person in that position," spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters.

In a change to command, all staff is now expected to report to the newly appointed Kelly, including Trump's daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner, Sanders said.

The unnamed official disclosed that Kelly now has wide-ranging authority to issue orders.

“Things will run with regular order,” the official said, adding that the president's daughter and her husband are "not above the law."

Scaramucci's departure follows a failed effort to overhaul the U.S. healthcare system, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer's exit as well as his previous chief of staff demitting office.

Last week, Scaramucci fueled tensions when he berated senior White House officials, Priebus and Bannon. He referred to the now-resigned Priebus as a leaker.

The former communications chief initially started 2016's presidential election cycle as a fundraiser for two Trump rivals, Scott Walker and Jeb Bush.

Trump held a Cabinet meeting which was attended by Kelly, who he heaped praises on for his tenure at the Department of Homeland Security.

"With a very controversial situation, there’s been very little controversy, which is really amazing by itself," Trump said.

Republicans fear that staff chaos could kill efforts to repeal and replace the Obamacare.

The U.S. dollar hit a more than 2-1/2-year low against the euro on Monday.
