Communication and Information Minister Jorge Rodriguez presented new evidence that blames opposition leader Juan Guaido and theVoluntad Popular leadership for stealing money to commit crimes against Venezuela.

In a statement to the national and international press, from the Miraflores Palace (headquarters of the Executive), the leader specified that the self-proclaimed president in charge and other leaders of the right defalculated funds with which medicines and food could be acquired, to finance acts of destabilization from Colombia.

Rodriguez recalled that on March 23, the Venezuelan government denounced to the world that Guaido was appropriating resources, money and goods belonging to Venezuelans, a fact unknown to many authorities.

In that sense, he showed the screenshots obtained from the cell phone of the person who was the administrative and political coordinator of all the corruption and theft of Venezuelan resources directly for the opposition leader.

'The corruption plot of the terrorist group Voluntad Popular, which already appears in the extreme right-wing media, is of great magnitude,' Rodriguez said.

He also emphasized that Guaido 'wants to steal alone, that is why the opposition is divided, the militants of that group are taking all the money,' he added.

Rodriguez pointed out that 800 million dollars belonging to Citgo, a subsidiary of the state-owned Petrolera Venezolana (PDVSA) in the United States, were transferred to accounts held by Guaido's people of trust.

The opposition has no political interest in Venezuela, that's why the situation of division that exists between the parties of Voluntad Popular and Primero Justicia is evidenced by the huge corruption plot fostered by the local extreme right,' the Minister remarked.
