Tehran, Sep 18 (Prensa Latina) In a violation of international law, the United States could prevent Iran from participating in the United Nations General Assembly by not granting him the relevant visa to President Hasan Rohani.

So far, Rohani has no visa to travel to New York, IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday.

'Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, as planned, must travel to New York on Friday, September 20, and the president, on September 23, but if visas are not issued within a few hours, those visits could be canceled,' the agency added.

This announcement was revealed a few days after US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused Iran without evidence of being behind the attacks against the Saudi refineries and another hundred offensives against Saudi Arabia.

Tehran described these charges as false. On Saturday, the state-Aramco oil processing facilities at Abqaiq and Khurais in eastern Saudi Arabia were subjected to a drone attack claimed by Yemen's Houthi militias.

The 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly opened in New York on September 17, while the general debate will start September 24 and run through September 30.
