Montevideo, Nov 27 (Prensa Latina) The announced presentation by the senatorial bench of the Broad Front of a criminal complaint against a former military officer who threatened to kill leaders adds this Wednesday another alarm about right-wing violence.

The case is contracted to a video spread on social networks by Carlos Techera who personally threatened in last Sunday's election, the lives of President Tabare Vazquez, former President Jose Mujica and presidential candidate Daniel Martinez.

Such content was analyzed at the meeting of those legislators and they decided to proceed with the corresponding complaint, while in parallel the Prosecutor's Office adjudicated to investigate the threats expressed by the former military.

In turn, the president of the Pit-Cnt trade union center, Fernando Pereira, responded to the Military Center's President Colonel Carlos Silva's statement about the Armed Forces 'are prepared to act if requested,' by accusing this organization and the left of convening 'combat.'

Yesterday, Justice operators and human rights defenders presented a request to a court against the so-called 'General Barniex Command' that conveyed threatening messages during the end of the election campaign to support Luis Lacalle Pou as president and 'to our Army General Commander Guido Manini Rios.'
